We are back to a .com thanks to J.L.U.S.'s supporters. Thank you guys

How many times has this happened to you?

J.L.U.S. stands for Just Let Us Skate. If you want to skate freely without harassment and getting stopped for just holding a board, please join my organization. Im hoping that I can get a large enough group of skateboarders just wanting to skate, that someone will notice and help us out. J.L.U.S. is not just for skateboarders but for authorities as well.  All Im asking for is for your help and time to just get the J.L.U.S. name out there. Catch the attention of store owners, police, and other authorities and change these peoples minds. Try to gain a friendly relationship with these authorities. When they tell you to stop skating there. Just go on with your business, and don't back talk. To gain respect from these authorities, you have to give respect. I know that they don't give you respect, but that is from years of disrespect from skateboarders all around. If a large enough group of skaters start showing respect. People will notice, and trust you more. A little respect goes a long way. In order to get our freedom, you must earn it. Just try it out. Respect = Respect and that is what J.L.U.S. goes by.

Getting the word out about skateboarding. And earning our respect.

My name is Josh Bennett, and I get stopped every time I skate. I get yelled at for holding a board, looking at a ledge or set, walking, standing, and of course skateboarding. Skateboarding is a passion, not a crime. Its a team, not a gang. Its a hobby, not destruction.

Skateboarding keeps us out of trouble. If it weren't for getting yelled at for trying to skate, we wouldn't be in trouble at all. Not all skaters try to destroy everything. There are some skateboarders who have ruined the name for skaters all around. I want to show the other side of skaters to everyone.

Skaters freedom is restricted. Skate parks are not in every county. Skate parks can be miles away, and alot of skaters only transportation is their board. Not everyone can just hop into a car and head to a skate park. Thats why we try to skate with what we have, but we don't have much. We get yelled at for skating almost everywhere. I want skateboarders to start showing respect, that way we can get respect and authorities will let loose on skaters. We are not hurting anyone. We know the dangers of skateboarding, and someone with a real love of skateboarding wouldn't sue anyone for falling off of our board. All we want to do is skate.

I am looking for a change in skateboarding. I have skated for years, I want to see a change. I want skateboarders to show respect to authorites so the authorities will show respect for us. The more respect you give, the more freedom we gain. In order to get respect you must give, and that goes for both skateboarders and authorities. RESPECT = RESPECT
